E. A. Longen's return to the director's chair after 20 years: The story is about reservists on a military exercise. Non-soldier Kohout has to pose as an officer because he is representing his "busy" employer.

Summer 1943. A group of scouts from an artillery division stumbles upon a 12-year-old boy during a raid behind enemy lines. The scouts are shocked by his appearance - completely wild, dirty, ragged, angry and hungry - a real "wolf cub". The scouts take him with them and study that he has been wandering through the forests for about two years, feeding on what infections, and hiding all the time.

As they are leaving the church following their wedding, Count Adrian Beltrami and Countess Anna-Marie are told that the Austrians are marching on the town to quell an Italian uprising. The bride and relatives induce the count to flee to his castle, but Tangy, a silhouette cutter, brings word from the revolutionary committee asking him to return; the count goes, asking Tangy to pose as the count and protect Anna-Marie.

For 11 years, Beth's life is limited to working nights in a convenience store while her daytime hours are spent caring for her bed-ridden, bitter and abusive mother. All that keeps her going is a voice on the radio of a psychologist, Dr Roland. Her obsession grows to the point where nothing, not even murder, will stop her from getting to the woman she desires!

The invaders are leaving the northern town of the young Soviet republic. The brave underground activist Alexei Ilyutinsky infiltrates a musical troupe organized to entertain the White Army command and boost the morale of the population. The new horn player, who has no musical ear whatsoever, passes on the White Army's defense plan to the Reds and saves Bolshevik Makeev, the former chairman of the provincial executive committee, from being shot.

This film is a very loose film adaptation of the 1831 novel The Hunchback of Notre-Dame by Victor Hugo and presumed lost: The wealthy girl Esmeralda is kidnapped by gypsies at birth and becomes, as one might assume, the darling of Paris. She is loved by the bell ringer and former hunchback Quasimodo, Frollo, the wicked surgeon who cares him, and an equally wicked Captain Phoebus.

The action of the play takes place from September, 1838, to October, 1842, in the Longstone Lighthouse, Farne Islands, Northumberland; at Cousin McFarlane's shop at Alnwick; and in Grandfather Horsley's cottage at Bamburgh.

Darling tells the story of two youths Subhash Chandra Bose and Karthik alias Aniyankutty. Subhash Chandra Bose, called `Kochchukurup` by his near and dear ones, is forced to leave his parents under certain circumstances and go to Bangalore where lives his dear friend Karthik alias Aniyankutty, a rich youth who lives in grand style.Aniyankutty spends his time flirting with girls, assisted by his caretaker cum friend cum well wisher Appachan, By strange coincidence, both Aniyankutty and Kochchukurup fall head over heels in love with the same girl Padmaja Warrier under totally different circumstances. The problem with Kochchukurup is that he has never seen Padmaja, but they had talked over the phone and Padmaja too is passionately in love with him, of course without seeing him even once.Aniyankutty, who comes to know of this, turns selfish in his love and starts playing tricks to prevent both the lovers from coming together.
